What Causes Delayed Period After Taking Postinor Followed By Unprotected Sex?

I hard un protected Sex the day my ovulation started which was 23 of Aug nd I took Postinor 10 nd m meant to see my period after 5 days nd yet is almost 8 days nothing yet, do u think am pregnant and I don t have any money in my account pls can you answer for free

Well, the chances of pregnancy is quite high when you have unprotected sex. But since you have taken Postinor, it should offer protectection against you becoming pregnant.

Postinor is an emergency contraceptive pill. It has to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex.

If you have taken it in this way, you will get your periods anytime within 3 weeks from the day of taking the pill. Hence, have patience and you should get your periods, which says that you are not pregnant.

In case your periods are delayed beyond 3 weeks, then you need to seek medical attention immediately.
