OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Did your wife took any pregnancy test before taking medications? If she was pregnant and she took the medication, then I suggest that she should visit a GP so that she can perform a small invasive procedure on her, this D&C.

If she was not pregnant and she missed her periods then I believe she has entered the perimenopausal stage as she is already 46 and at this age the perimenopausal stage is obvious to begin.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
