Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Delayed Period Along With Pain In Abdomen And Breasts?
I took postinor 2 on July 12 and 19 also .Am I had my period on 3rd to 9th of July and expects the next period between 31to 2nd .Up till now I have not had my period .Could it be that am pregnant or there is just a delay in my period because I have abdominal pains and breast pain as my period symptoms which I have experienced since last week but my period is still not in yet
Postinor may also cause abdominal cramps, breast tenderness, mood changes, dizziness and fatigue. These symptoms will reduce in the subsequent days. Delay in periods may be due to pregnancy, stress or hormonal changes due to new pills taken. You need to rule out pregnancy by urine test in case you miss your periods by more than 10 days.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
