General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Delayed or irregular period may be due to: (1)emotional stress or illness
(2)thyroid disease
(3)physical illness
(4)high levels of the prolactin hormone
(5)excess physical activity
(6)PCOS- polycystic ovarian syndrome
(7)perimenopause

You can consider waiting a few more days. If your period still does not come then you need to consider visiting your doctor for assessment.

I hope this helps
