What Causes Delayed Period And Lower Back Pain While HPT Is Negative?

i have pcos. i took provera to start a period. my last period was may 28 2015. i used clomid to ovulate. idk what day i ovulated i had intercouse every other day. i was cramping on june 27th which was cycle day 32-33 my period was supposed to arrive cycle day 35. i haven t had any symptoms of my period to arrive, i have low back pain and some abdominal twinges on and off. i have taken 8 pregnancy tests they all came back negative. any idea what is going on? i am 40 1 week late.

PCOS women, on an average, have nine m.c. in an year that is lesser than normal. However some might have over bleeding too. Some have no periods at all.

PCOS may also cause lower back pain and sacral pain in women.

Simply follow the instructions of your treating doctor who knows all these common things. Have patience.

However, if I were your treating doctor, I would have additionally given you some Ayurvedic liquids i.e. Pathyadi Kwath and Kumaryasav for 8 weeks. I also give to my such patients Rajpravartini vati one week in a month starting seven days prior to expected date of m.c. These harmless, safe herbals do not interact with other medicines. ( give 1 hr gap between these and other drugs). These combined Medicines correct the inner lining of uterus, ovulation and backache. These are commonly available in India. Elsewhere you have to try to find these or get online.
