What Causes Delayed Period, Back Pain And Vaginal Itching After Taking I-pill?

I had unprotected sex on 12th June..and I took I pill within 8hrs.my last period was on 23rd may. The next day of pill I had severe abdominal pain and leg pain which lasted for just day. 5days later I m having vaginal itch,only the outer vulva and no discharge. I m having lower back pain since then but my periods are still due.are these side effects of I pill.has the pill worked?pls help

1. Lower back ache, headache,breast discomfort ,weight changes,edema are dose related ADR (adverse drug reaction) and are happening in you.

2. Since menstrual irregularities is als one of the ADR of drug thus if your periods does not come on due date, you may have to wait for a week.

3. Since I-pill has to be taken within 72 hours (8 hours in your history) thus the drug has worked and there is not need to get bothered.

4. To allay anxiety, you may do a repeat UPT (urine pregnancy test or take opinion of a Gynecologist)
