What Causes Delayed Period, Lower Abdominal Pain And Brown Vaginal Spotting?

Hi - just taken my second pregnancy test two days apart - the line has got darker but still not bold and bright. I had an ectopic 15 years ago and worried it might be another one - I am only 4 days late but had brown spitting two days before my period was to start and maybe a week before my period woke up with pain on my lower abdominal which lasted a couple of mins and then stopped. Can you advise?

Your symptoms could be suggestive of a hormonal imbalance. If the problem persists, I recommend performing an abdominal ultrasound in a week or two.
