What Causes Delayed Period Post Unprotected Sex With Negative UPT?

Me and my husband had unprotected sex two months back or before. My periods were normal last month but i am late this month. Fearing that i might be pregnant, i took pregnancy test. And it showed negative aa result. The issue is that i have few symptoms that speak otherwise. I have been pukish quiet a few times, i am putting a lot of weight, specially my tummy is out. I have started eating a lot.
The reason i am not so sure is because, i have had my periods once in between the duration when me and my husband had unprotected sex. Please help.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
* You seem to have an irregular periods due to hormonal imbalance.
Such symptoms point to some hormonal problem( thyroid problem/PCOD/ diabetes/sevier anemia.
Get your investigations done to find the basic cause- CBC, Thyroid function test, blood sugar, hormone assay, Abdominal sonography for detecting PCOD.
Consult a gynecologist , he will examine you physically & give you specific treatment according to causative factor.
Thanks
