Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Plan B is an
emergency contraceptive pill. It needs to be taken within 72 hours of having
unprotected intercourse, and you have rightly done so.
It would prevent
pregnancy by causing withdrawal bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of intake of pills. Its protection against pregnancy is about 89%.
Hence, you need to get your bleeding in the form of periods within 3 weeks. In case you don't get it like your regular periods, you need to
seek medical help immediately.
Since you have not got proper periods, it could be possible that the pill could have failed in its action.
Also, the symptoms of delayed periods, headache, sore breasts and tiredness are indicative of you being possibly pregnant.
Kindly get your urine pregnancy test done along with trans-
vaginal ultrasound scan (TVS) of pelvis and consult Gynecologist for further management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
