What Causes Delayed Period While HPT Is Negative?

im due to my period for 9 days now ive had unprotected sex with my husband on the 22nd of last month while my period is regular 28 days started on the 9th of feb. ive had a hcg qualitative blood test on the 15th this month and it came back negative i just want to make sure if im pregnant or not?

If the tests are negative then chances of pregnancy is very minimal because these are not the accurate test and if you wan to get it confirm then ultrasonography is the test that could clear the doubt and it is advisable to get it done, hope this information helps, take care.
