What Causes Delayed Period While HPT Is Negative?
Hi! I am 10 days late for my period already (cd 44). Opk and bbt indicates i ovulated on day 17. Spotting on 7-10dpo and 21dpo. Negative pregnancy tests. Went to obgyn yesterday to have check up and dr says im not pregnant. Prescribed 7 days of primolut. What is my condition?

Hi,
Delay in periods can occur even during normal menstrual cycle pattern. Such variation in the onset of periods can occur due to hormonal imbalance, stress, new medications, crash dieting or exercise.Hormonal pills will regulate your hormone levels and hence you have been prescribed Primolut-N. After stopping the drug,you can expect your periods in 3 to 5 days.
