Hi I have a regular menstruation 17-19 of the month.. then I took nordette as an ECP a week after the last day of menstruation(Last week of April 2014) then bled 1st week of May.. then had menstruation the 1st and last week of June (had mens twice last June). Last mens was June25.. I havent got my mens this July.. Is it still the effect of nordette? or is it possible that Im pregnant?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. In the manner you have described, it is not likely that you may have conceived. Emergency contraceptive pill creates hormone imbalance and hence creates menstrual disturbances for a couple of cycles. This is the most likely cause of the frequent cycles you had. I would ask you to get a trans-vaginal sonogram to know the status of the pelvic organs. If pregnancy is excluded, hormones can be given to induce a period. Hope your query has been answered. Take care.
