What Causes Delayed Period?

I had sex with my girlfriend and to the best of my knowledge I did not enjaculate inside her .... the next morning she had her period. Will she be pregnant as these days she is unwell and she has been having bouts of sicknesses every now and then. And she still is to have her periods. It s been a month since she had the her last period. Thank You.

Hello,

Sometimes stress is the cause for delayed periods. As per the history given by you, it is very less likely that pregnancy is the reason behind her not having periods.

To clear your doubts, I suggest taking an urine pregnancy test will be better. If it comes negative and the periods get delayed further then I advise you to take her to a gynaecologist for physical examination. The doctor might ask for few tests to be done after which next thing in the management will be discussed by her.
