What Causes Delayed Period?

hello, my period was due 4 days ago and up until today i have not seen my period and my last sexual encounter with my boyfriend was on the 1st on April, two days before my ovulation began. My initial thought was that i could be pregnant, so i ask my boyfriend to purchase a pregnancy test, which i just took and it came back negative. I am now beginning to think that it could be because of the cysts I have one one each ovary. Could you please tell me your opinion.

Hello,

The delay in periods can be due to pregnancy or cysts or a hormonal disturbance. You need to repeat a urine test after a few days to be very sure.
