What Causes Delayed Periods After An Abortion?
Hello I am 24 and had an abortion five weeks back and I had light brown discharge few days back and from yesterday I started to feel hungry and stressing because my period is a little late.(I didn t have sex after my abortion) all I want is my period to get back soon.

After a complete abortion, periods get delayed due to hormonal interruption caused by the procedure. An unprotected sex following abortion does carry a risk of unwanted conception and this too can cause delayed period. If you were careful / avoided sex all these sex or used contraception in case you had sex. There is no chance of conception and please stay cool. You will get periods in due time, though late.
