What Causes Delayed Periods After Having Unprotected Sex?

Hi doctor, i got my periods on 2nd august and my last day of cycle was 6th aug 2011 . i had unprotected sex on 6th aug, and consumed ipill on 6th aug 2011, but today is 12th aug and my cycle has not come yet. i have done pregnancy test and it is negative. i am over tensed please help.

hi don't worry you are not pregnant and is not necessary that after taking emergency contraception you get your periods immediately.wait for 28 days from your last cycle to get your periods before taking a urine pregnancy test but in all likelihood you won't be pregnant . all the best take care.
