What Causes Delayed Periods After Skipping Birth Control Pills?

I didn t take my birth control for over a week and started taking it on the wrong day because I was worried and figured I should take it sooner rather than later. I took it on a Tuesday but I usually start on Sundays. Should I be worried that my period hasn t come and it s Thursday of the following week?

As per your history you said you had started wrong dosage. First of all you need to get it corrected or wait for the period using other safe sex control measures. Till you get up with proper information of cycle.

Yes, the delay can be because of the same reason of, that may have disturbed hormone level and led to the change in normal cycle.
