What Causes Delayed Periods After Stopping Birth Control Pills?
So I stopped taking birth control in like August and had a regular period the next month but I never had my one for last week. Now I am 6 days late. I took a test a couple days ago but it showed negative. Do you think I took the test too early? Is the pill still wearing off, and could I be pregnant?
Hello Thank you for asking the question. You are on pill. Once you stop the pill, you are no more protected.. So now you are unprotected. In this phase if there is delayed period then it is not due to pill If period is delay, then it may be due to pregnancy.repeat test after a week, if negative then consult your doctor to get final conclusion regarding delay period and pregnancy. Hope this will helpful to you.
