What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking HCG Drops?

I was taking hcg drops for a couple of weeks. I stopped taking them about 4 weeks ago. I'm almost 3 weeks late have taking 2 pregnancy test, both had negative results. My periods are usallyy pretty regular. Could the drops cause a negative result? Could the drops be the reason I'm late?
