Hi,
Actually periods get delayed by about 8-10 days, before you could get delayed period after your first dose of
plan B after taking plan B due to addition of
hormonal content in hormonal cycle of
menstruation. I feel, before you could get delayed period after your first intake of plan B this month, you had taken second dose. This must have caused hormonal imbalance and so the cycle is extra delayed.
The red discharge you had recently could be the withdrawal of hormones of emergency
contraceptive (plan B 2nd dose) and your period may follow within 8-10 days after this. Possibility of
pregnancy remains, if you had unprotected sex around ovulation (well before your first dose of the plan B. It can be confirmed only by blood pregnancy test (hCG test in laboratory) to be done if there is no period within next 1o days. You have go for MTP in case it's positive as the plan B is hazardous to pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
