What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Susten Vaginal Suppository?

Hi my iui is done on 12th april and after that i m taking sustain 300 twice daily vaginally. My last period was on 31st march and till date my period did not came and my pregnancy test came negative today. Can sustain delay my period?can it happen that my iui was not successful?

Hi, I think susten can delay your periods. It is a progesterone which supports implantation. If you are pregnant, it will support your pregnancy. If you are not pregnant, it can take 10 to 14 days for periods to come after stopping the tablet. You can do a pregnancy test after completing the course of susten. If negative, wait for the periods. If periods don't come in one week, you can repeat the test.
