What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Unwanted 72?
hii..i m shalini..i had an unprotected sex with my boyfriend on 7th nov. and i ve taken unwanted 72 on 10th. now i ve reached my original date of my period, i.e, 28th, my period is not occurring. i m very tensed. there are signs like lower abdominal pain, no white vaginal secretion, etc... please suggest me what to do now???

Hi Shalini, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Unwanted72. Should be taken within72 hours of unprotected intercourse. It's contraceptive efficacy is maintained only in that case.
Unwanted 72 has the side effect of delaying next expected periods by 7-10 days.
If your periods are delayed, then do get a urine pregnancy test done and if positive then further management should be done accordingly.
