What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Unwanted 72?
Hi. I am 22 years old. I had an intercourse with my fiance on 27th June and took an unwanted 72 with in 2 hours. I then had my periods on 8th July. I was suppose to have my periods on 5th of this month but they are now delayed by 5 days. I have regular periods otherwise which last for 3-4 days. Should I be worried about this ?
Sometimes Hormonal pill can delay the period due to its effect.
So I suggest you wait for the next two day for your period.
If even after two to three days also your period doesn't come than investigate with urine HCG card test to rule out pregnancy although the chance is very less. If the card gives negative result than pregnancy can be excluded and you can get investigated with USG pelvis and Hormonal testing.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
