What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking An I-pill?

Hi, My last period date was 22nd July and it lasted for 4 days. I used iPill on 1st August within 6 hours of intercourse. I normally have a 30-day period cycle. To my surprise, today being 12th August, no sign of bleeding yet. Last used iPill 3 months back and I bled after 4 days. This time in spite of using iPill within 6 hours, no sign of bleeding. I am worried a lot. Plz help.

Hi I think sometimes bleeding doesn't occur after taking emergency pill. If your periods get delayed, do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. If negative, wait for the periods. Periods can get delayed after taking emergency pill as it delays ovulation. Hope it helps.
