What Causes Delayed Periods After Tubal Ligation?

I had a tubal ligation during c section april 2015. My period is always on time never late. I am currently 10 days late. I didnt see any blood the whole month of february. I was sitting on the couch and i felt a gush of fluid thinking it was my period finally. I go to the bathroom and it was blood tinged clear watery flud dripping down my legs. (2nd time this happened) i wiped and its jyst peach brown color. I have no cramps but a week ago my nipples hurt soooo bad. No other symptoms that i can think of.

Hi,

Please note that gush of fluid so early is not a common thing.

As pregnancy even though may occur after tubectomy, but discharge so early and so heavy is not possible.

You should undergo an ultrasound abdomen to rule out pregnancy or uterine pathology.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
