What Causes Delayed Periods After Unprotected Intercourse?

My menstrual cycle is of 28 days. I had unprotected sex on 22nd day of my cycle. My periods got delayed so went for home upt test after a weeks delay which was negative. i took prmolute N 5mg twice a day for three days and it s been 4 days since the medicines and i haven t got my periods. I have been in lot of stress too.

Hi, I think you will get your periods in 10 days after stopping the tablet. If it doesn't come by then, you can take a combination of oestrogen and progesterone for inducing periods. Periods can get delayed due to stress factor also.
