What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Light Vaginal Bleeding?

I m supposed to be on my period but I m having extremely light bleeding instead. It s unlikely that I am pregnant. I m on birth control and my boyfriend always wears condoms during sex. I ve been sick with pneumonia and have been on several medications for it. I ve also been very stressed with school. Is this something I should worry about?

I understand your concern.
Pregnancy might be unlikely when you are on birth control pills and when protective precautions are taken by wearing condoms when having intercourse.
The cause for delay in periods and light vaginal bleeding what you are experiencing could be due to psychological stress and physical illness and medications taken for that. Kindly wait for some more time for the actual periods to happen or else you need to consult Gynecologist for getting prescription of medications to induce periods.
