Hi,

Lower back pain and abnormal vaginal discharge are one among the signs of pregnancy. Especially back pain occur early & persists through out the pregnancy. Also, vaginal discharge might increase in volume both during the early and final few weeks of pregnancy in order to protect the womb from infection. Your symptoms might be due to pregnancy. I advise you to:
- Watch for other signs like nausea, mood swings, increased appetite, headache etc.
- Do a repeat HPT after 10 days

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
