Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Pink Vaginal Spotting?
Hi I m a 20ur old female and I have irregular periods. However I still use a period tracker and it says I should be on my period. However a few days ago I ve noticed when I pee that there is no blood in urination but there is like a light pink when I wipe.
Light pink discharge can occur when blood is mixed with cervical fluids. This is completely normal. Delayed periods can occur once in a few months which can also be physiological. A number of factors affect your menstrual cycles like vigorous exercise, dietary factors or hormonal imbalance. I would suggest you to wait for a few more days for your cycles to return.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
