General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Light pink discharge can occur when blood is mixed with cervical fluids. This is completely normal. Delayed periods can occur once in a few months which can also be physiological. A number of factors affect your menstrual cycles like vigorous exercise, dietary factors or hormonal imbalance. I would suggest you to wait for a few more days for your cycles to return.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
