What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Sore Breasts And Nausea?

Hi me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant for 3 months now. I have been off of bc for 6 months. I am 5 days late for my period which never happens I m very regular. I have been having symptoms. My breasts have been super sore and tender, I have been nauseous everyday through out the day, I have been having to go to the bathroom what seems like every 5 min, my emotions have been crazy I have been crying at things that I wouldn t normally cry at, and my appetite has been out of control! I will eat a huge meal and 30 min later be extremely hungry again. But with all this I haven t gotten a positive pregnancy test yet. Is it possible I am pregnant and the tests just aren t detecting it yet?

Hello,

If it is very early in the pregnancy the pregnancy test may come out negative even if the woman is pregnant.
A blood test called BHCG can be done to have a clear understanding if you are pregnant or not. Another option is to repeat the urinary pregnancy test in a few days. If the test continues to be negative then very likely you are not pregnant.
