Hello, You really need to see a doctor for an exam and some lab testing. Sometimes being overweight can be associated with a condition called polycystic ovary syndrome and this can cause irregular and missed periods. Getting to an ideal body weight and exercising daily are both likely to help the situation. It could also result from thyroid disease which can be diagnosed with blood tests. Regards
