What Causes Delayed Periods And Abdominal Bloating?

I m a 49 years old female I still get my period, I was 40 + days late since my last period and I m not bleeding as usual, I go to the bathroom and see a clot come out , most the usual bleading I have during my menstrual period . I have had blotetiness breast tenderness no cramping .. what is going on ?
