What Causes Delayed Periods And Brown Spotting?

My m-cycle was on for 2 weeks.. It didn t arrive on time and it was dark brown then light pink.. Not heavy like it usually is.. I had my last Pap smear 07/2014 I do not drink smoke use drugs..now every I m spoting is dark brown in color and today while at work.. I went to the ladies room and when I went to wipe the tissue was bright red.. But it s not flowing.. No history of cervical cancer.. Not skinny not over weight I don t exercise .. Just a little daily walking.. I will be 41 on nov 16th what could be the issue

Hi, I think you should go for evaluation first. It can happen due to infections or may be some hormonal problems. Do a ultrasound and a thyroid profile and prolactin levels. The treatment will depend on the test reports. You may need some antibiotics. Hope I have answered your question.
