What Causes Delayed Periods And Bruises All Over The Body?
Hello, I am a 30 yr old female. My period is 5 days late, with negative hpts. I also have severe bruising all over my body. I was diagnosed with CFS and fibromyalgia at 15, however I have never had the symptoms. My period is always early, the only time it s ever been late is the two times I was pregnant and the hpt showed up right away on both.
If you have done urinary pregnancy test and it was negative you can repeat it in a couple of days and if it still is negative then very likely you are not pregnant. As for the bruise, because they are spread and especially if there is no trauma to justify them, it is best to see your doctor and have some tests like CBC, ERS, PT, PTT, platelet count, hemorrhagic time, liver function tests, etc.
These would rule out problems with coagulation or bleeding in your body or would identify them and lead to the proper treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
