What Causes Delayed Periods And Lower Abdominal Pain Despite Taking Deviry?

I was having deviry 10 for 5 days once daily as I m having irregular cycle. After taking the pills I was feeling little lower abdominal pain. But even after completing the 5 day course (two days before) I am still not having my periods back. What should I do?

Hello,

I can understand your concern. Deviry is Medroxyprogesterone. It induces withdrawal bleeding after five days of completing the course and stopping the medicine. Sometimes bleeding occurs after 7 days, too. So if there is no sign of menstruation in 7 days after stopping the pill, then you should consult your gynecologist.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
