What Causes Delayed Periods And Negative Pregnancy Test?

hi, we are trying to conceive,and my period was suppose to start march 9 and is 2 weeks late, and all the pregnancy test says no and when i wipe now brown stuff comes on the tissue. is it a chance that Iam pregnant, and that I might have gotten pregnant this month?
