What Causes Delayed Periods And Vaginal Spotting?

hi. I'm worried because I haven't started my period yet. I had the nexplanon inserted in june, removed Friday august 11th. I had unprotected sex Saturday and sunday. I had spotted for a day about 3 weeks later. its now been a little over 4 weeks and I haven't had a period or spotting.

Hi I think you should do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. If negative, it means you are not pregnant. It can happen sometimes due to side effect of nexplanon on ovarian function. It may take 6 months for ovaries to regain its function after removing the implanon. So, you can take some medicines like meprate or deviry for inducing periods. Hope it helps.
