General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since your period is delayed by 5 days & if you were not on regular BC pills you can be pregnant, sometimes improper use (tearing, etc) of condoms may result in conception. You are suggested to get urine & blood test for pregnancy done, if positive you should get connected to a gynecologist. If negative, it can be due to PCOS, anemia, hormonal problems or thyroid issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
