What Causes Delayed Periods Despite Taking Primolut N In Women With Amenorrhoea?

I am.suffering from amenorrhoea secondary, my LMP is 7-7-15,my pregnancy test is negative ultrasound finding is also not suggesting pregnancy,I had took two promulute N for two consecutive days,on 20 and 21 of this month but even then there is no break through bleeding.what should I do now

Hi

You have not mentioned whether you have any history of irregular periods.Taking only two tablets of primolut may not be sufficient to bring your cycles.

The drug should be taken under physician supervision.It can be taken thrice a day for 5 to 7 days.Breakthrough bleed can occur even after 3 to 10 days after stopping the drug.

Any hormonal imbalance like pcod,hypothyroidism,diabetes should be ruled out.
