What Causes Delayed Periods Despite Taking Unwanted 24 Post Unprotected Sex?
Hi. I had my last period on 14th and had unprotected sex on 6th of this month. I took unwanted 72 within 24 hrs. I have not got my periods yet (its almost 7 days late). I always had regular periods so far. Are there chances of pregnancy? I checked twice at home but the results were not very clear. Please help.
Also, it's not 100% protective. So chances of getting pregnant is still there. I advice you to, - Do serum beta HCG test which is more reliable than HPT to rule out pregnancy. - Consult your doctor for further assistance
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
Regards, Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
