What Causes Delayed Periods In Spite Of Taking I Pill?

hi doctor, me and my gf and me had sex on 6th of jan2011, her 7th day of cycle, i ejaculate outside, and she took also ipill for protection, till dis this date her periods r not coming, we test for pregnancy, thats also negative, whats the reason for late periods ? plz tell us
