What Causes Delayed Periods, Nausea, Stomach Cramping, White Discharge After Unprotected Sex?

My cycles are usually 28 days long. Last cycle began November 17th. I had unprotected sex on two of my "most fertile" days. A week ago I woke up in the middle of the night with nausea and stomach cramping. Took a home pregnancy test two days ago, it was negative. My period is now four days late. I have been experiencing minor cramping that resembles period cramping on and off the last four days, but no bleeding. A small amount of white discharge two days ago when I went to the bathroom. Could I be pregnant? When should I test again?

Hi

Your symptoms may represent pregnancy but it is essential to repeat the test after 10 days of missed period to get a reliable result with urine pregnancy test.Testing after 4 days of missed period could be very early in many patients to get a positive result even when pregnant.

You can also take a beta Hcg blood test which is more sensitive in detecting pregnancy earlier than an urine test.
