What Causes Delayed Periods Post Intake Of Unwanted 72?

Hi! I had a sex with my gf on 8th and after that condom was left inside vagina and i had taken it out immediately. Next day after 30 hrs of the incidence she has taken unwanted 72 pill. Her period date is 17th. Till date i.e. 12th she had no period. When she can expect it? Any reason to worry?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
She has taken the emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours and hence she should get her periods.
If it is delayed further, get her Urine tested fir pregnancy to know about its status.
Kindly consult Gynecologist for further management.
