General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Delayed period could be due hormonal imbalance as a result of using Apollo's drug (if it is an emergency contraceptive pill). Other causes may include anxiety, emotional stress, change in diet habits, heavy exercises or recent change of job. Let her consult a gynecologist to determine the possible underlying cause and to induce bleeding if pregnancy test is negative.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
