What Causes Delayed Periods Post Ovary Drilling Procedure?
Hello Doctor, I have been trying to conceive sine last 3yrs but because of infertility,l couldn t succeed. My cycle is 30-37.After some diagnosis I was undergone to laparoscopy due to ovary thickness in Nov. After this operation my 1st period was delayed for 18 days and still I didn t get my 2nd period too. My due date was Jan 31 of this year.Checked home pregnancy test too.The result was -Ve. Can you please explain me the reason for the delay
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your symptoms of delayed menses following a surgical procedure for ovarian cyst I am suggesting that you have developed a hormone inbalance reason because your ovary has following hormone follicular stimulating and leutinizing hormone that controls the production of the egg for fertilization In view of this please do a hormone profile test Meanwhile please see a gynecologist specialist with the result and for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription In order for you to get pregnant I hope this helps
