What Causes Delayed Periods While On Clarithromycin?

I started taking Clarithromycin about a week ago for a chest cold and took my last dose last night(5/30). I had about 6 beers one of the days I was taking the antibiotics. I did not have any sexual intercourse. So far, I m late one day on my cyle and not sure what to think.

Hi,

Clarithromycin does not affect your menstrual cycle.

If you had sexual intercourse you can go for a urine pregnancy test to confirm whether you are pregnant or not.

I periods delayed for long, you can consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
