have question also..I was on duphaston too for 10 days since august 1 2011, but my period hasn t come yet until now.I took PT before i took duphaston and it turned to be negative.Last Aug. 19 after 1 wk. of no signs of period i went for blood/serum PT and it turned to be negative as well,but until now my period didnt come stil.I am assuming that I am pregnant, we wanted to have a child so badly,Dr. is there a possiblility that I am pregnant?by the way i was diagnose of PCOS.please help me clear with these,its so frustrating and heartbreaking if I am expecting but nothing.thank you!

Yes, there is strong possibility that you are pregnant. Negative pregnancy test does not always guarantee you about absent pregnancy.
These tests do have false negative results. Means test is negative but you are actually pregnant. This is seen mostly with very early pregnancy. If you do pregnancy test in first 2 weeks, there is high possibility of negative pregnancy test. So in my opinion, you should get done repeat testing after 2-3 weeks. Also get done ultrasound examination. If G sac (gestational sac) is seen then you are pregnant for sure.
