What Causes Delayed Periods While On Norifam Shots?

Hello! I am taking Norifam Shots every month. My MLP was February 5, 2017 and the latest Norifam shot was February 14, 2017. I had unprotected sex for the whole month of February. Today, March 9, 2017, I still haven t got my period. Am I at risk for pregnancy? I hope you could help. Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
You have been taking Norifan injection every month. It's effect lasts for 30 days, And provided it is taken regularly on the exact day of plan,, there is no risk of pregnancy.
It's known to cause menstrual irregularity.. that's why your period seems to be delayed ... still you have to continue taking the injection on the day as per paln Please stay cool.In case the period is delayed for more than 2 months... please go for home pregnancy test to exclude pregnancy. In case it turns +ve,( which is very rare for regular patients) you have to terminate
