What Causes Delayed Periods While On Birth Control Pills?

Hi my name is Breanna and I am on the birth control pill (microgestin fe 1/20) I usually always get my period on the third day of my inactive pills which is always a Tuesday . I ended up spotting on the 27th of may and the 29th of may though. The following Tuesday ( the 30th of may) however I didn’t get my period( which is when im supposed to get it) . It is now Saturday June 3rd ( which is 4 days without a period ). I m a little concerned but the last week before my inactive pills on the 21st of may I took my pill an hour and a half earlier ( I took it at 6:30 a.m. and normally I take it at 7:55 a.m. then )I normally take it . The following day the 22nd of may I didnt have my pills on me until I came home later that night around 8 pm and took it . Did I mess up my schedule , or is it something else

Hi,

The delay in menstrual cycle is due to the inappropriate contraceptive pill intake. You should try to be more careful. There is no chance if pregnancy as it was forgotten on the 22nd day when ovulation is finished.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
