What Causes Delayed Periods With Abdominal Pain And Nausea?

I had my last period on 12 Dec. And then enquired about late periods from doctor. She advised modus 10 twice a day for five days. I had it for five days till 8 Feb. But still dont have periods. I feel nausea, abdominal pain n back pain sometimes with watery discharge. What does it indicate. I usually have normal periods. I am very much tensed. Do help me...

There are different causes for delayed or irregular periods, to determine the exact cause you would need physical assessment, blood tests and also imaging.

The causes include: (1) polycystic ovarian syndrome
(2)emotional stress or illness
(3)physical illness
(4)thyroid disease
(5)inadequate diet
(6)high prolactin hormone levels
